Pulmonary hypertension
3,4-CTMP is likely a potent 5-HT2B receptor agonist, which has the effect of increasing blood pressure in the pulmonary artery (the artery that supplies blood to the lungs). This may lead to shortness of breath, dizziness, and other cardiac symptoms. Other substances that have this effect, such as aminorex, are proven to be extremely harmful to short and long-term heart health. This effect has the potential to be serious and life-threatening, particularly with high doses and/or chronic use.
After the peak effects wear off, there is at least 5 hours where sleep is not possible for me, without a benzo.
